That day Charlie suddenly remembered the bedtime song Grandma used to sing to him: “my bonnie lies over the ocean, my bonnie had only one lung, she coughed up some crud and corrosion, she rolled it and chewed it for gum, bring back, bring back, bring back my bonnie to me, to me…”
HAAAAA! This reminds me of my grandfather, who only had one lung.
Reading this while eating breakfast was, um, challenging…
I know your mother told me not to….. but I saved the placenta from your birth. Now you may eat it and you will become a man.
Placenta! Ha! My brothers always told me that when I was born the doctor threw away the baby and my mom and dad raised the placenta. And, that’s the same father who was the grandfather who had only one lung. Proof…the whole world is a giant swirly and that’s the end of the story.
